SARC was formed in 2006 to provide a forum for parents and sports teachers alike to raise and discuss issues relating to the sports and physical education programs within Forest Lake College.
This forum has proven highly successful in recent times by enabling open discussion to determine the requirement for a key leadership role within the college. For the first time in Forest Lake College history, a Head of Sport was appointed in January 2007. SARC now works in partnership with Head of Sport to fund and resource Forest Lake College sporting teams and education programs.
In 2006, SARC worked in conjunction with Alpine Place campus to hold a Walkathon which raised $14,000 to purchase new sporting equipment for students and provide a sizeable donation to the Wildlife Warriors charity fund.
The most notable priorities on SARC’s agenda are:
- Recruiting, supporting and rewarding parent and teacher coaches.
- Fundraising to resource sporting equipment and uniforms.
- Corporate sponsorship for individual sports within Forest Lake College.
- Annual Sports Gala dinner to recognise and reward Forest Lake College players and coaches.

- Term 2 - April 20 & June 1
- Term 3 - July 27 & August 31
- Term 4 - Oct 19
