Community Alliance Program

Welcome to the home page of the Forest Lake College Community Alliance Program.

The Community Alliance program is a Parents and Friends’ Association initiative designed to promote and support local businesses that in turn will support the College, Families and Friends.

SHOP, SAVE & FUNDRAISE FOR FLC

Step 1: SHOP

Support the participating Community Alliance Partners, by using these businesses to purchase goods or services.

Step 2: SAVE

Show your Community Alliance Card to receive a discount off your purchase.

Step 3: FUNDRAISE FOR FLC

Participating Community Alliance Partners will rebate a percentage of the total purchase amount back to Forest Lake College, to assist in purchasing vital resources for our students.

How does it work?

We advertise our Community Alliance Partners on this page and promote their businesses to our College families and staff using frequent mail outs and flyers so that they are aware of where to shop.

The Parents and Friends’ Association provides one free Community Alliance card to each family. More cards are available from the Parents and Friends’ Association for a gold coin donation per card.

Forest Lake College families and staff then present these cards to our Community Alliance Partners when trading with them to receive the unique and special benefits that each business offers. Please see below for benefits of each business.

In return for Forest Lake College promoting our Community Alliance Partners and increasing their business, the Parents and Friends’ Association receives a rebate from each business every time we shop with them. This money goes towards assisting us to fundraise and purchase vital resources for our students.

Additional Cards

Additional cards can be purchased for a gold coin donation at either campus reception.
